Hello everyone, I hope you have been having a great week so far just as I have been!
The Sports for Nature offices are busy and we have a really cool project in the works related to tennis and sports management. I can’t mention anything yet, but as soon as we have a confirmation, I’ll be in touch to let you know all the details!
We are coming down to the last months of tennis and golf trips to Costa Rica. We have 2 more tennis trips and one more golf trip to go; then off until next fall/winter.
So far this season of trips has been fantastic, I have had the opportunity to meet some really interesting people that are not only passionate about their favorite sport, but also passionate about nature and all green issues that are so important nowadays.
I am blessed to be able to travel with these individuals and to be able to start friendships based on common interests and great memories. Plus, I get to play lots of tennis and golf, two of my favorite sports (third one being soccer) … how awesome is that?!
If you have a moment, please check out this video I just watched on www.ted.com, it’s Jason Clay from the World Wildlife Fund talking about some of the things that they are doing with big corporations around the world to preserve biodiversity. Here’s the link: http://www.ted.com/talks/jason_clay_how_big_brands_can_save_biodiversity.html. Hope you enjoy his speech, lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Ok, gotta go now, time to keep on working on uniting sports and nature in new ways. And as I mentioned, I’ll be in touch soon regarding our newest tennis project, very exciting!
Have a great weekend and remember to keep smiling!
