Hope you are having a great week so far! I am pleased to announce that as part of Sports for Nature’s Green NBA Night with the Washington Wizards, Redline, a hot new sports bar in DC is hosting a Party for Nature. So people that come to the game now have a great option on where to go afterwards. Redline is located across the street from the Verizon Center so everyone can just walk there after the game ends.
This is a new venue for Party for Nature so the Sports for Nature Team is excited to throw a party there and hopefully raise some good funds for green charities.
I am also happy to announce that Virginia Green officially approved our event yesterday, due to the green initiatives that we will be implementing. Some of them are limited printing of materials, recycling, and encouraging everyone to use mass transportation to attend the game and Party for Nature afterwards. Verizon Center has its own Metro station, so that will make it easier for everyone.
On another subject, our 5th and last tennis trip of the season to Costa Rica still has four spots open, so if you want to take a week off in warm weather and enjoy the beach, while playing tons of tennis, please contact the Sports for Nature Team today to get in on this trip!
