Hello everyone! The Sports for Earth Team is working hard this week on Tennis for Nature, our annual event that combines the best tennis in the DC area with nature. This year we have great prizes to give out, including signed sports memorabilia from players such as Andre Agassi, Juan Martin Del Potro, Marin Cilic and Richard Gasquet. Plus, we’ll have Babolat racquets and bags to give out to contest winners.
We’re having a demo court as well as a fast serve and target competitions. This means that the event should provide entertainment for everyone in the family. For the little ones, photos with the polar bear might provide a lasting memory!
We are also in full swing promoting the new season of tennis and golf Trips to Costa Rica. Our 2011 – 2012 season begins in December and this year we expect all trips to be packed with participants. Our last season went great, everyone had so much fun; and the activities on the tennis court as well as off the court kept our players busy and relaxed at the same time. Some took more day tours than others to places such as Arenal Volcano, the zip lines and white water rafting, while others simply stayed the majority of time at the resort and enjoyed the beach and wonderful spa there. Nothing wrong with that!
